You say,
"I've tasted pain,I've tasted love,
Men are dogs,female bitches"
But have you tasted Jesus
You say,
"I drink defeat,beloved by failure
The ladder is for slippery,I always slide"
Yet you've tasted not Jesus
You wail,
"Life's unfair, like the depths of my pocket
I fast in prayer, still broke to go rock it"
Have you laid it on Jesus?
You weep,
"We loved him much, the breathe in our hearts
When agony was his meal,to our pleas He was deaf
Our eyes bled love, still He snatched him above"
Yet in your tears he was the last drop
He was the comfort that saw you move on
He was the rest that swallowed his wallowing hope
You curse, but at least, you lucky to have tasted Jesus.
