BELIEVE ME

Believe me pretty lady
A day will come
These tears you shed
After a night of 'love-making'
In thin air he vaporized
Will be a solvent of happiness
Memories of a million frog kisses
As you utter "I do"
To the man of your dreams

Believe me young man
That moment will come
The stench of ditches you clean
The scorching afternoon sun
The treking to,fro offices
With sole-less shoes in search
For a job,you will miss.

Believe me intellect
You who fees a struggle
Studying on an empty stomach
To enlighten a malnourished brain
You who ain't pursuing your passion
Forced to study that course
It pays well,they say
Freedom is calling out
Liberation hungers your embrace

Believe me champ
The hours spent at the gym
Fitness for the game
A body they can kill for
When the day comes
Will translate into medals
Winks!Awws!necks breaking
More important will grow
An invicible self confidence

Believe you me
Whose poems never read
Whose stories never published
Songs never been played
Thoughts only known by walls
Been your sole audience for ages
Your shot will come
Bewitch the world with tunes
With poetic magic inspire

 Believe me dear
That day a'int far
Though it may take years
Dreams never grow old
Held fast,they vanish not
For darker nights;brighter stars
Ugly flowers;sweetest nectar
Never quit on those visions
Carry on.
