MY CRY

Don't avoid me,friend,
Though I don't have a leg
I can't see,hear or talk
I laugh alone, they call me insane
Coz I didn't choose any of it

Don't chase me away,
Though I am dressed in rags
I smell like sh*t
I am termed "from the streets",
Coz I come in peace

Don't pretend to be deaf,
Wen I call you miss
Though I am not rich
Can't afford regular gifts,
Coz love is all I can give

YOUTHFUL MEMORIES

To where did they disappear
Those times we were here
Shedding the tears
Sharing our fears
Studying as peers

Where did they vanish
When I and ya
Cooked without fire
Raised children never sired
Made cars from barbed wire

I have never forgot
The cooling spirituality
Of the Catholic church,Holy Trinity
The githeri of Chanda
Adventures of mathamba

Those times to cherish
Wen we stole sugarcane
Played a freaky show,Bantu game
Trained to cycle
Entertained ourselves with marbles

We sold leftover bananas
Scrap metals and bottles
To display our independence
Swam on rain water
Courted the ladies with mutura
To satisfy our hearty needs
Kept puppies as pets
Buried dead birds,rats
To show our humane nature

I really miss the moments
N wish I would
Resuscitate the youthful
Energy,passion and co-existence
Wen tribe was not a matter
Gender wasn't a factor
But I wake up from the dream
N accept the burning truth
They will just be memories.

WONDERFUL BEINGS

I cant stop admiring
Those blessed dimples
That experienced smile
Those comforting hands
I cant wait receiving
The wisdom in her eyes
The inspiration in his tongue
The truth in her voice
I pray I also have it
His snowish glittering hair
The joy in her heart
Wat a marvelous life
